The Groen Z003460 is a normally closed (NC) 1/4" FPT hot water solenoid valve for use in an 110/120V electrical system in commercial appliances. It regulates the amount of hot water that flows by opening the valve when it receives an electric current, and closing it when it does not. It is used in commercial food service equipment, including associated systems in which hot water is being controlled in cooking and cleaning operations. It operates in the system as a part of the water inlet control assembly and controls the water flow to ensure the proper operation and sequence of the appliance. Installed in line in the water supply line of equipment.
