The Groen 076637 Drain Solenoid Valve 250 F Max 1/2 inch FPT 15-PSI is installed to regulate the release of liquid in systems that are compatible with steam or kettle systems. It has a rated temperature of 250 degrees Fahrenheit and 15 PSI and controls the flow in a 1/2 inch FPT connection. It is mounted on the drain line and is opened and closed by electrical signals of the control system. When applied in commercial food preparation conditions, it facilitates organized drainage control and regulated liquid discharge during operation.
