The Groen Z076651 Drain Solenoid Valve Max 1/2 FPT 15-PSI is designed to manage the flow of liquids in compatible steam or kettle systems. It can be used at temperatures up to 250 degrees Fahrenheit and pressure up to 15 PSI and controls flow with a 1/2 inch FPT connection. The valve is installed in the drain line and can be opened or closed in response to electrical signals when needed during the operation or cleaning cycles. It is used in commercial kitchens and it helps in the management of drains and the coordination of the systems.
