The Southbend 1055998 LP Gas Safety Control is an LP gas valve is operated by controlling and monitoring propane gas flow in commercial cooking equipment. This Model 7000 BMVR control is rated for 10" water column pressure and is installed in the gas train between the supply and burner manifold in the appliance. As the operating conditions change, the valve is controlled by the thermopile and thermostat to open and close the gas circuit. It includes pilot secure features that will automatically shut off the gas when the pilot flame is extinguished.
