The Hobart 410738-2 Gas Fryer Tube Screen is a mesh insert used within the heating section of a commercial unit. It is formed in a 17-1/2 inch by 17-1/2 inch square layout and is positioned around the internal tube bank inside the tank. The screen permits oil circulation through open mesh areas while limiting direct impact between food particles and the heated tube surfaces. During operation, burner heat transfers through the tubes while the mesh structure maintains spacing and reduces accumulation on the heating zone. It remains secured within the chamber and operates as an internal heat exchange system.
