The Vulcan Hart 420828-00001 1/2" Nat/Lp Safety Valve is a safety part which safeguards cooking appliances against gas leaks and explosions. The safety valve functions with natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas systems through its 1/2" inlet and 3/8" bushing. A safety valve on the 1/2" Nat/Lp Safety Valve operates automatically to discharge excess pressure from gas lines when accidents or supply line malfunctions occur thus avoiding dangerous explosions. The quick pressure discharge mechanism protects equipment as well as personnel and the environment from possible damage.
