The Hobart 712001-000A2 Burner Shields and air shutter are a cast-iron burner element to match commercial cooking equipment. It is fitted in the burner assembly to control the airflow and mixing of gases through adjustable shutters and a heat shield to assist in effective combustion. In service applications, it is used to deal with flame instability or wear-related performance. It acts as the heater in the middle of the appliance and allows the appliance to cook regularly when it is working normally.
