The Montague 2406-6 Oven Burner Valve Assembly is used in commercial ovens that need to have an ability to control the amount of gas being delivered to the burner. It has a 1/8 inch NPT connection and is used to control the flow of gases to ensure the accurate ignition and even distribution of heat in the oven cavity. It is a component of the gas control system of the oven, and to maintain a consistent temperature in the cooking cycles. It is fitted when there are maintenance in foodservice kitchens when the valve assembly installed initially feels worn or with irregular performance.
