The Star Mfg Y7249 Burner Valve is a gas flow control part that fits the corresponding commercial cooking parts. It has a 1/8 inch NPT connection that regulates the quantity of gas supplied to the burner to ensure that it is properly ignited and that the flame remains stable. This valve works in the gas system of the appliance to help in proper regulation of heat. It is typically deployed in restaurant and institutional kitchens and is substituted when the gas control performance is no longer accurate.
