The Bakers Pride G4040X Cast Iron Radiant is designed to transfer heat from the burner assembly to cookware in commercial cooking equipment. Measuring 22-15/16" X 3-7/8" X 3", the cast iron radiant sits above the burner and receives direct heat from the flame. It installs within the cooking section where its position supports even heat distribution across the grate area. As the burner operates the radiant absorbs and radiates heat toward the cooking surface while reducing direct flame contact with cookware. This component works with the burner and grate assembly during cooking cycles. It replaces a damaged or deteriorated radiant in compatible equipment.
