The Pitco PP10271 LCH Type Hi-Limit Thermostat W/Manual Reset 1/4" Bulb is a temperature safety control for commercial fryers and heated cooking equipment. It operates by sensing the temperature of oil by the sensing bulb and shutting off power to the heating system when unsafe temperatures are reached. Manual reset is a feature that the operator must use to reset the thermostat after an over-temperature condition before the equipment can operate again. It is used in the control assembly of the fryer of compatible cooking equipment to support ensure secure operating conditions and to help protect internal components.
