The Southbend SOU1174340 Pilot Safety Valve with Reducer Bush 1/2" is a control component to fit gas appliances. It controls the flow of pilot gas and cuts off when the pilot flame is not detected, assisting equipment operation. The reducer bush allows the installation of 1/2" gas connections so that they can fit in the system. It is installed in the gas line, and it reacts with the thermocouples and the control systems to ensure a steady pilot operation. During maintenance, it is substituted when the original valve is worn, to ensure a smooth running performance.
