The Montague V2GB Pilot Safety Valve Natural Gas/LP is used to control the flow of pilot gas and to control the supply of ignition gas to the convection oven burner assembly. It works by a thermally responsive safety mechanism that detects the heat from the pilot and controls the gas passage opening and closing in response to the pilot heat, ensuring consistent pilot operation throughout the ignition cycles of the oven. The valve is fitted in gas convection oven pilot assemblys, in the safety line between the supply source and the burner control system for controlled operation.
