The Hobart XNC8X100 Hi-Limit LCH Thermostat is a protective temperature control used to prevent and monitor internal temperatures and interrupts the electrical circuit when excessive heat conditions for commercial use. It has a manual reset 490°F fixed 1/4" x 6-1/2" nickel bulb after tripping to restore normal operation. It is used where it interfaces with heating elements and protection circuits of the unit. It is used to protect equipment from overheating and maintain controlled thermal limits during continuous operation in the system.
