The Hobart XNC8X101 Hi-Limit LCH Thermostat is a temperature control component used to monitor and detect elevated temperatures and interrupts the electrical circuit when the preset limit is reached. It has a manual reset 490°F fixed 1/4" x 6-1/2" nickel bulb. It operates by interrupting electrical power before operation can resume. It is used where the nickel bulb sensor monitors heat levels within the system. It is used inside high-temperature equipment to protect heating elements and internal components. It plays a protective role by maintaining controlled thermal limits during continuous equipment operation.
