The General Electric XNC8X102 Hi-Limit LCH Thermostat is a temperature controller used to protect from excessive temperature conditions. It has a manual reset 490°F fixed 1/4" x 6-1/2" nickel bulb. It monitors internal heat levels and interrupts the electrical circuit before operation can resume. It is used where the nickel-sensing bulb is positioned to detect temperature changes within the system. It is used as part of the protection control assembly to prevent overheating and support controlled thermal operation during continuous use.
