The Montague 01028-6 Pilot-Safety Valve is designed to control gas flow and to check the operation of the pilot burner in commercial cooking systems. It operates by using a gas control valve and a pilot security component that senses the flame conditions, and regulates the fuel flow. The pilot flame is not in place the valve is required to prevent gas from entering the system. This part is designed to fit into the gas train assembly of compatible equipment and is connected to 1/2" FPT.
