The Hobart 718326 Pilot Safety Valve is a valve used for controlling gas flow and as a safety shutoff valve in pilot-operated heating systems. This operates by checking the pilot flame with an in-built safety system that lets the gas flow through if the pilot is burning. When the flame is out, the valve shuts off the gas to the main burner circuit. This component is compatible with the gas control assembly of commercial equipment, and is mated to a 1/2" FPT fitting. it supports to ensure controlled gas delivery and pilot flame monitoring during equipment operation.
