The Montague 01061-8 FDTO Gas Thermostat with 3/16" x 15-3/16" bulb and 3/8" FPT connection is designed to regulate temperature in commercial gas fired system. It is installed in the control assembly connected to the gas supply and the sensing bulb is installed in the heated area to check the temperature. The component operates by either expanding or contracting according to the amount of heat and regulating the flow of gas. This operation aids in stabilizing the operating temperature of 150-550F.
