The Montague B40A FDTO Gas Thermostat with 3/16 x 15-3/16 bulb and 3/8 FPT fitting is used to regulate the temperature in commercial gas-fired appliances. It is fitted to the control assembly of the equipment and is connected to the gas supply and the sensing bulb is used to check the level of internal heat. The thermostat works by expanding and contracting with the temperature, and adjusting the flow of gas accordingly, in the range of 150C to 550 C. It provides a constant cooking performance and avoids overheating ensuring a balance in its operation.
