The Garland 2345700 Solenoid Gas Valve regulates gas flow within compatible commercial equipment. It has a 1/2-inch female threaded pipe connection and operates at 25 volts. When the electrical control circuit energizes the solenoid, the internal valve mechanism moves to open the gas passage. Removing electrical power returns the mechanism to its closed position, stopping gas flow through the valve. The valve fits within the designated gas supply line through its threaded female connection. Its placement controls fuel delivery between the incoming gas line and the burner system during the equipment's heating cycle.
