The Henny Penny 38468 Fryer Solenoid Gas Valve controls the supply of gas reaching the burner in compatible commercial equipment. It uses a 1/2-inch female threaded pipe connection and a 25-volt electrical rating. An electrical signal energizes the solenoid coil, which shifts the internal valve to permit gas through the passage. When the signal stops, the valve closes and interrupts fuel delivery. The valve fits into the designated gas piping connection serving the fryer burner. It places the gas control between the supply line and burner inlet, so fuel flow responds to the fryer control circuit.
