The Hobart 836951 NAT/LP Pilot Assembly is a gas ignition part that is used to ignite and maintain a pilot flame in compatible gas-fired systems. It operates by passing a controlled amount of natural gas or propane through the pilot orifice which then produces a flame that ignites the main burner when a flame is needed. The assembly consists of a 1/4" tube and a left flame pattern orifice designed for certain burner arrangements. It is mounted in the vicinity of the burner area of suitable cooking and is used as part of the gas ignition and flame-holding system.
