The Groen GR1908 Pilot Assembly is a natural gas or propane-fired burner ignition part in commercial cooking appliances. This operates by directing gas through the 1/4" pilot tube and left flame pattern orifice and igniting a pilot flame which is used to light the main burner. The assembly is installed inside the burner compartment of an optimum part and positioned so that the pilot flame is directed to the desired ignition point. It is part of the gas control and ignition system and supports ensuring normal burner operation during the heating and cooking cycle.
