The Middleby Marshall A23730 Vacuum Breaker 180F 125 PSI 1/2" NPT works by permitting air to enter the line when a negative pressure exists to commercial system prevent the backflow. It used an internal valve system that open when there is a vacuum and closes when normal pressure is reinstated. This element is commonly fitted in water or steam line of commercial kitchen equipment. It is a necessary component in controlling pressure variations and use in the secure separation of the supply and discharge line in foodservice operations.
