The Blodgett BL11501 Convection Oven Solenoid Valve is an electrically operated gas regulator that controls the flow of fuel in all commercial baking equipment. Its 1/2" connection and 120V, 50/60Hz ratings make it suitable for use in standard oven gas trains. This valve is mounted on the gas pipeline, at the point where it meets the incoming burners. It works by using an charged coil to move an internal mechanism for opening or closing off gaseous substances depending upon signals received from the control system, which works in coordination with burner on-off cycles during cooking
