The Garland GL1017598 Thermostat FDO-1 with 72" x 7/16" Capillary CCT is a capillary-actuated thermal regulator that is used in closed-loop temperature regulation in cooking systems. It operates on a closed sensing circuit in which a change in temperature causes a change in internal pressure which transmits force to a bellows assembly. This act causes contact interaction in the control body to control electrical load to heating parts. The remote bulb design that is backed by a 72 inch capillary allows focused sensing at the hot spots. It offers repeatable actuation properties, regulated hysteresis and reproducible electrical switching, which ensures consistent heat management and accurate system response over long operating cycles.
