The Garland L4601578 Hot Top Valve is a gas flow controller that controls the flow of gas in a commercial cooking range by regulating the flow through an internal commercial system. It is manually adjusted by the range control knob, adjusting the fuel flow to keep the burner operating at the same rate with different heat requirements. Intended to be installed in commercial range valve assembly sections to control the distribution of gas in cooking burners. It is installed in the valve body housing adjacent to the control interface and connected to the gas manifold to supply lines to various burner outlets.
