The Pitco PTB3316801 Gas Fryer Temperature Probe Kit Assembly is used to detect temperature changes in the frypot when it is in use. The probe changes the temperature that is detected into an electrical signal, which is sent to the control circuit of the fryer. The system controls the burner activity based on the signal received in order to maintain the programmed temperature. The probe and other mounting or wiring parts necessary to install the probe are included in the assembly. It is installed in compatible gas fryers, the frypot, or in the area.
