The Lang LG2E-41100-08 Sensor Probe Wire and plug 1/8 x 18 is a spare part that measures the amount of heat in the appliance by converting temperature variations into an electrical signal. It works by sending these readings over the 39-inch wire to the control circuitry which can then make changes to heating elements as necessary. The sensor probe is installed in the cooking or holding chambers of compatible units, where the sensor probe is attached to the interior structure and plugged into the control board. It also is used as an internal temperature sensor on the equipment providing real-time feedback and controlled temperature control.
