The APW 2065607 Pilot Safety Valve 1/2" W/3/8" NPT Reducer Bushings1/4" CCT is used to control the flow of gas to a burner by opening and closing due to changes in pressure to assist in regulating ignition in the appliance. It works by letting the gas flow when the system requires a flame and closing the flow when the flame is not there. This valve is normally fitted in the gas line close to the pilot assembly, and it fits well with the supplied reducer bushings to fit and align well in the burner system.
