The Cecilware L344A Pilot Safety Valve 1/2" W/3/8" NPT is used to regulate the flow of gas by opening only when the flame is present and closing the supply in case the ignition is lost. It works by a thermocouple connection which keeps the valve open when hot and automatically closes when the signal is broken. It is an element that is fitted in the gas line assembly of the compatible commercial cooking or beverage equipment. It has a 1/2 inlet with a 3/8 NPT inlet connection to fit in with standard piping.
