The Star Mfg 2V-9495 Pilot Safety Valve 1/2 inch is used to control the flow of gases by opening and closing when the pressure in the system varies to ensure controlled operation. It has 3/8 inch NPT reducer bushings to fit different pipe sizes and a 1/4 inch CCT connection to fit in with standard control systems. This valve is placed at the pilot line of a gas appliance and it is the interface point between the main gas supply and the burner assembly. It can be installed in a small area without interfering with the supply of gas and the connection to the burner.
