The Cecilware L020F Pilot Safety Valve 1/2" W/3/8" NPT is a gas control component to control fuel flow and to provide a safety shut-off operation in commercial gas-fired cooking equipment. It is part of the gas supply system, and is used in conjunction with the pilot assembly to detect the presence of the flame and to automatically shut off the gas supply when the pilot flame is extinguished, thereby aiding in the operation of the equipment. It is also part of the burner control circuit, controlling the flow of gas to the pilot, and main burners which helps to ensure ignition and consistent heating.
