The Blodgett 30220 Gas Safety Valve 1/2" 24V is a valve designed to control and close the flow to the burner manifold in commercial systems. It is designed to fit a 1/2" x 5" pipe nipple, 1/2" union and 1/2" coupling and can be used in natural gas or propane applications. As part of a typical installation, it is connected to the gas supply of a commercial griddle, enabling secure operation by providing the ability to isolate the burner system in a controlled manner during maintenance or shutdown. This component is a part of the fuel delivery and secure system of the systems which ensures that the systems gas inlet piping and cooking equipment are properly connected.
