The Blodgett 30221 Gas Safety Valve 1/2" 24V is a gas control unit to control and isolate fuel flow to the burner system in commercial systems. It consists of a 1/2" x 5" pipe nipple, union and a 1/2" coupling, and is compatible with natural gas and propane systems. When in use, it is placed in the gas supply line of a commercial griddle to permit a controlled flow and to be shut off during service or maintenance. The assembly is a component of the systems secure and distribution system that links the gas supply inlet to gas burner controls within the systems for proper and controlled operation of the systems cooking equipment.
