The Hobart 419670-2 Hi-Limit Thermostat 450°F 30" CAP is a temperature security control for commercial cooking equipment. It is intended to track the internal temperature and to break the electrical circuit to prevent overheating conditions. The sensing bulb is linked to a capillary tube that senses changes in temperature and passes them on to the switch mechanism, which will automatically cut off when the temperature changes. This component is mounted in the burner/heating chamber area and is part of the appliance's security control circuit to assist in maintaining controlled temperature limits during operation.
