The Hobart 80016-11 Thermostatic Steam Trap 1/2" MPT is a condensate regulating component designed for compatible commercial steaming equipment. It is fitted into the steam piping, where it automatically responds to temperature changes to remove condensate and trapped air from the system. The thermostatic mechanism cycles between open and closed positions based on fluid temperature, allowing condensate to exit without interrupting the steam circuit. Featuring 1/2-inch MPT threaded connections, it integrates with the steamer's piping and heating assembly.
