The American Range A32053 Valve Knob Mount is used to fit the control knob firmly to the gas valve shaft. Having a diameter of 1-1/4 inch, and well-defined OFF, PILOT and ON positions, it facilitates correct operating choice. It is mounted with the screw that is provided and assists in keeping the proper level of alignment during normal usage. The correct mounting will flow and transition of gas and it is recommended in case the mount is loose or in case it cannot keep the knob firmly in place.
