The Bakers Pride S1453A Oven Valve Knob Mount is made to fit the operating knob onto the shaft. It is 1-1/4 inches in diameter with OFF, PILOT and ON indicators to check clear control. The screw is used to fix it in place when it is in normal use. It is mounted on the valve stem and makes sure that user input is properly transferred to the valve positioning. This should be done when the mount has become loose or cannot allow consistent knob positioning.

Installation Steps

Step1: Turn off the appliance and shut off the gas supply, allow surfaces to cool fully.

Step2: Remove the screw securing the old knob and pull it off the valve stem.

Step3: Align the new knob with the valve stem flat edge.

Step4: Insert and tighten the mounting screw securely without over-tightening.

Step5: Restore gas supply and test OFF–PILOT–ON positions for proper connection.
