The Frymaster FM2441 Auto Reset Hi-Limit Thermostat LC117 is a security temperature-limiting component used in compatible fryer equipment. Set to a 425°F high-limit point, it monitors temperature near the fryer heating area and opens the heating circuit when excessive temperature is detected. The thermostat is installed within the fryer control or heating circuit, allowing its sensing mechanism to respond to rising heat conditions. When the temperature drops to specified reset level, the automatic reset operation restores the electrical circuit and permits normal heating control to resume.
