The Randell RFFAN010 Fan Guard Plastic is a fan unit protective cover designed to fit evaporative fan units that have 7-1/2 inch blade diameter and 6-7/8 inch spacing of mounting holes. It serves the purpose of wrapping the fan blades in a plastic shield that permits air to move in and out and avoids incidents of direct contact and minimizes debris penetration. The guard is attached to the fan housing by the centre-to-centre pattern of holes required to ensure the guard remains firmly in place. It aids in continuous air supply and shielding of internal parts that promote uniform operation of ventilation systems.
