The Southbend SOU1177452 CW Motor 2 Flats 1-Pole 7.2/4.5 AMP is a clockwise rotating motor, to power the mechanical parts of commercial cooking equipment. It has a dual amperage operation, and has two flat shaft surfaces that allow it to be firmly coupled to driven components like fans, agitators, or conveyor drives. This motor is installed in the motor compartment of the appliance to provide steady rotating power to assist in the normal operation of ovens, fryers, or other foodservice equipment. It is also part of the system of converting electrical energy, to mechanical motion.
