The Hobart 00-355089-00002 French Plate Surface Heater is an electric surface heating element used in compatible commercial cooking equipment. Installed in the range top, the 9-inch-diameter French plate contains an internal resistance heater rated at 2600 watts and 240 volts that converts electrical energy into heat. The heated plate transfer thermal energy directly to cookware through conductive contact while providing an even cooking surface. Four-pin terminals connect heater to the equipment's wiring and temperature control circuit, allowing regulated heat output.
