The Star Mfg 2NY3301 French Plate Surface Heater is an electric cooking element designed for compatible commercial cooking equipment. The 9-inch diameter plate operates at 240V and is rated at 2600W, providing direct heat to cookware placed on its surface. Four pin terminals provide the electrical connection between the element and the equipment wiring. When energized, the internal resistance heating material converts electrical energy into heat across the cooking plate. The element works with the equipment's control switch, thermostat and wiring to regulate surface temperature according to the selected cooking setting during operation.
