The Hobart 347177-1 Thermostat With Dial D1/D18 3/16" X 13" 60" Cap is a temperature controller that senses changes in heat through its capillary and translates them into mechanical action that opens or closes electrical contact. The dial can be adjusted manually to a desired temperature point which the internal mechanism will maintain by cycling connected components on and off. It is normally fitted in compatible commercial kitchen equipment control panel where it is connected to heating elements and monitoring systems to control internal temperatures during operation.
