The Hobart 497765-00001 Pilot Safety Valve 3/8" is security oriented gas valve that regulates gas flow to the pilot burner in fryers. It operate by only permitting gas flow when a thermocouple detects the presence of pilot flame. It closes the gas flow if the flame is extinguished to avoid gas accumulation. It is placed within the fryer's gas system interacting with ignition and control elements. This valve assists ensure accurate fryer performance in kitchen operation is to control gas flow to the pilot burner and ensure secure and proper use of the equipment.
