The Hobart 497765-1 Pilot Safety Valve 3/8" is gas control part that regulates the pilot burner in commercial fryers. It regulate gas delivery to the pilot burner ensuring it only operates when flame is present and uses thermocouple input for secure operation. In case of pilot failure the valve shuts off the gas to prevent hazards and it is placed in the fryer's gas line and operates with ignition systems to ensure burner performance. The component operation of the appliance is to regulate the flow of pilot gas and prevent uncontrolled release.
