The APW 13801-00 Hi-Limit Safety Thermostat LCH with Manual Reset 450°F Fixed is a thermostat designed to continuously monitor the temperature of the fryer oil. It has a fixed 450°F setting and a manual reset feature, which is manually activated after a trip to restore circuit continuity and re-enable temperature control operation following abnormal heating conditions. The component is placed in the fryer safety control housing to control temperature protection near the fryer heating assembly and control circuit area and to respond directly to the overheating event in the system enclosure.
