The APW 1380100 Hi-Limit Safety Thermostat LCH with Manual Reset 450°F Fixed is a temperature-sensing part that cuts off power when the temperature of the fryer reaches a set limit. When the temperature exceeds the high limit the switch opens the electrical contacts and the circuit is opened and must be closed manually after the internal mechanism cools and returns to a safe condition by means of a fixed high limit calibration set at 450°F with a latch mechanism and manual reset button that reconnects the circuit after activation.
